Thomas D. Glascock, Esq.

Thomas D. Glascock (University of Buffalo School of Law,
1995) is an associate in the Corporate, Real Estate, Trusts
and Estates Practice Groups. He concentrates his legal
practice representing numerous businesses on various legal
and business planning matters, including purchasers/sellers
and lessors/lessees in commercial real estate matters,
and individuals in estate planning and probate matters.
Mr.
Glascock has significant experience working with corporations
and limited liability companies in various organizational
and transactional matters. He also represents leading real
estate developers, property managers, and real estate investors
on various commercial real estate matters. Mr. Glascock’s
trusts and estates practice involves both assisting individuals
in their planning needs and working with businesses to
prepare for and satisfy their business and succession planning
needs.
Mr. Glascock is admitted to practice law in the
State of New York, the District of Columbia, and the State
of North Carolina. He earned his Bachelor’s
degree from the State University of New York, College at Geneseo, and holds a
Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Tennessee– Knoxville,
where he was a Berkline MBA Fellow and a John C. Cox Memorial MBA Fellow. While
in law school, he served as Note and Comment Editor for the Buffalo
Law Review,
and was published in Who’s Who: American Law Students.
Mr. Glascock has
served as a speaker at numerous professional events, and
has authored numerous white papers and professional articles.
His writings have been published by such organizations
as Aspen Publishing, the New York State Bar Association,
the Nassau County Bar Association, and the Huntington Chamber.
Mr. Glascock also serves (and has served) as an appointed
member to several professional committees and working groups,
including as Chair to the New York State Bar Association’s
Internet and Taxation Sub-Committee, to a special committee
for the New York State Bar Association, and to the Town
of Huntington’s Huntington Station
Revitalization Task Force. Mr. Glascock also volunteers
for a variety of business/professional, community, civic,
and related organizations. He serves as Board Treasurer
and is a member of the Executive Committee to the Board
of Directors for the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce,
and is Chairman-Elect for that organization. He is also
a member of the Board of Directors to the Huntington Arts
Council, and a member of the Board of Trustees for the
Vanderbilt Museum. In addition, Mr. Glascock serves as
an Elder and Trustee for Old First Presbyterian Church
of Huntington.
