Janet Ganio (St. John's University School of Law, 1984)
concentrates her practice in commercial real estate leasing,
sales and acquisitions, tax certiorari, banking law, and
commercial litigation. Prior to joining the Firm, she was
a partner in the oldest law firm on Long Island.
Among Ms.
Ganio's clients are financial institutions, Fortune 500
companies, and developers, tenants, and owners of commercial,
industrial, retail, and shopping center properties. She
was the Village Prosecutor for the Incorporated Village
of Mill Neck from 1987 to 2001. She is a contributing author
to Mortgage Foreclosures in New York (New York State Bar
Association, 1996) and a contributing author to Review
and Reduction of Real Property Assessments in New York
(New York State Bar Association, 2000).
Ms. Ganio is admitted
to practice in New York and the United States District
Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and
the Nassau County Bar Association, and is a member of its
Tax Certiorari and Real Property committees. Ms. Ganio
has been a featured speaker at a number of real estate
and mortgage foreclosure seminars conducted by the New
York State Bar Association.
