William S. Cohn (Brooklyn Law School, 1953) has been a practicing attorney for over fifty years, focusing his practice in a wide variety of real estate related matters, including land use and zoning. His experience in land use and zoning is well known on Long Island and he has lectured on the subject before the Nassau County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the Suffolk County Bar Association, and the Real Estate Practitioners Institute at C.W. Post College.

Mr. Cohn is Chairman of the Planning Board of the Village of North Hills. He was founding partner of Cohn, Rosenthal & Avrutine, based in Baldwin. Mr. Cohn was honored as "Man of the Year" and is a past President and Director of the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County, where he currently serves as Chairman of its Foundation Board, as well as Director. He has been honored by receiving the “Torch of Leadership Award” for his continuing efforts on behalf of the Association.

Mr. Cohn is a member of the New York State and the Nassau County Bar Associations.
