Douglas W. Atkins (Brooklyn Law School, 2005) concentrates his practice in the areas of tax certiorari, real estate, and condemnation. Mr. Atkins has successfully completed both commercial and residential real estate appraisal courses through the Columbia Society of Real Estate Appraisers. Previously, he served as a law clerk with the Firm while attending law school. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Atkins interned at the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office and the Kings County Supreme Court.

Mr. Atkins is admitted to the bars of New York and Connecticut. He is a member of the Nassau and Suffolk County Bar Associations, where he serves on the Tax Certiorari and Condemnation Law Committee for each. He is also an active member of the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce.

For his accomplishments and achievements in the business community, Doug was selected as one of Long Island’s outstanding young risers by the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce. The award is presented to Long Island’s top 30 professionals under the age of 30.
