Associate Lisa Casa of Forchelli, Curto, Deegan, Schwartz, Mineo & Terrana LLP Appointed Treasurer to the Nassau County Women’s Bar Foundation
Uniondale, July 1, 2017 – Lisa Casa has been appointed Treasures to the Nassau County Women’s Bar Foundation.
The Nassau County Women’s Bar Foundation (NCWBF) is the charitable arm of the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association. Founded in June of 2006, the NCWBF has contributed to breast cancer research and awareness and awarded scholarships to worthy law students on Long Island. The foundation is a not-for-profit organization with its own governing board.
Lisa Casa is an associate in the Employment and Labor practice group. She concentrates her practice in the areas of employment and labor law, sexual harassment and discrimination law, overtime and failure to pay wages law, union/management issues, and litigation.
Her article, “EEOC v. McDonald’s: Reasonable Accommodations under ADA for Job Applicants,” was published in the March 2016 issue of Nassau Lawyer.
Ms. Casa is admitted to the New York State Bar and the New Jersey State Bar, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Ms. Casa is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association, Nassau County Women’s Bar Association and the National Association of Women Lawyers.
