Of Counsel Harold B. Mayer Joins the Land Use & Zoning Department of Forchelli, Curto, Deegan, Schwartz, Mineo & Terrana LLP
July 18th, 2016 — Jeffrey D. Forchelli, Managing Partner of Forchelli, Curto, Deegan, Schwartz, Mineo & Terrana LLP (the Firm), announced that Harold B. Mayer has joined the Firm as Of Counsel in the Land Use & Zoning department.
Harold B. Mayer (St. Johns University School of Law, 1977) has been a practicing attorney on Long Island for almost 40 years and recently joined the Firm as Of Counsel in 2016. His area of concentration is real estate, focusing on complex transactions, zoning, land use planning and municipal law. He is also experienced in construction contracts including: Project Labor Agreements, Municipal projects involving the Wicks Law and Industrial Development with taxexempt financing. He also has extensive experience with Surety bonding including the handling of Performance and Payment Bond claims.
Mr. Mayer is a member of the American Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association and the Suffolk County Bar Association. He currently serves as Chairman of the Workforce Investment Board, Oyster Bay - North Hempstead - Glen Cove Consortium, which coordinates state and federal grants to private/public employment and training efforts.
Mr. Mayer is admitted to the New York State Bar, the Federal District Courts for both the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the Supreme Court of the United States.
