Forchelli Law Attorneys Honored by the Long Island Business News with the Leadership in Law Awards

November 13, 2014--- Forchelli, Curto, Deegan, Schwartz, Mineo & Terrana LLP Attorneys James C. Ricca and Frank W. Brennan were honored by the Long Island Business News with the Leadership of Law award. The Leadership in Law Award recognizes experience, dedication, hard work, skill, and excellence and is dedicated to those individuals whose leadership, both in the legal profession and in the community, has had a positive impact on Long Island.

James C. Ricca concentrates his practice in the areas of banking and finance law; foreclosures; creditor's rights; trusts and estates; corporate law; and real estate litigation. Mr. Ricca counsels individuals, small businesses and institutional lenders and has significant experience representing private and institutional lenders on large commercial mortgage loan transactions. Mr. Ricca has been recognized by the Neighborhood Housing Development Corp. for pro bono services, has served as a volunteer mentor with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Organization and as a Trustee on the Board of Jamaica Hospital. He was honored by the Long Island Business News' "50 around 50" (2010) awards as a Long Island business leader.

Frank W. Brennan concentrates his practice in the areas of construction law, commercial litigation and labor and employment law. Mr. Brennan represents clients in all segments of the construction industry, including contractors, construction managers, owners, developers, suppliers and equipment rental companies (on both public and private projects) relating to claims of non-payment, extra work, delay, changed conditions, defective work, default, termination, mechanic's liens and performance and payment bonds. 1Mr. Brennan also provides representation in connection with negotiation, drafting and implementation of collective bargaining agreements (CBA) and project labor agreements (PLA). Mr. Brennan is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association and is currently a member of the Construction Law and Labor & Employment Law Committees.
